Knowledge Agriculture®

Knowledge Agriculture® is an invention by Aprajita Srivastava, officially trademarked under Scientific & Technological Innovation by the Government of India. It is a transformative, data-driven agricultural framework that integrates IoT, AI, Robotics, UAVs, Greenhouse systems, and specialised software for weather modelling, smart zone seeding, and fertiliser modelling — designed to address global food insecurity and the United Nations SDG-2 Zero Hunger target.

What is Knowledge Agriculture®?

Knowledge Agriculture® is a process that uses technology and tools including Greenhouse systems, IoT (Internet of Things), Robotics, AI (Artificial Intelligence), UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), and specialised software for weather modelling, smart zone seeding, and fertiliser modelling.

The concept addresses a critical global challenge: a country's income is directly related to the education of its people and ICT penetration. The focus is on education and skill development — communicating with people in their own language to impart knowledge and skills that enable them to earn their livelihood and improve their living conditions.

Execution of technology-assisted Knowledge Agriculture and skill development projects in parts of India and Ethiopia, sustained and monitored over many years, showed inspiring changes in rural behaviour and willingness of farmers to adopt new technology.
